Starting and growing a medical school YouTube Channel
In 2024, I established a YouTube channel for the medical school where I worked. Previously, all medical content was hosted on the university’s main page. Recognizing the potential to enhance our brand, I leveraged video content regularly captured by an external vendor and created some video content myself. The channel has achieved impressive results, accumulating over 113,000 views and nearly 400 subscribers within two years. Notably, several of our top-performing videos and live streams have garnered 20,000+ views.
The YouTube channel has significantly boosted the visibility of our medical school. By creating a dedicated platform for medical content, we’ve reached a broader audience and established a distinct brand presence. The impressive view count and subscriber base demonstrate the channel’s effectiveness in showcasing our expertise and engaging with the community.
