Marketing Education Programs with Niche Audiences

One of the unique marketing challenges I was met with working at a medical school was the need for promoting degree programs that were not as prestigious or well attended as a M.D. or Ph.D. program. The M.S. in Health Data Science program at SLU School of Medicine was a uniquely placed program because it combined aspects of computer science and data analytics with practical use and application in the healthcare field.

 

Primary objective for this campaign was to increase program capacity with an emphasis in attract domestic applicants. After, refreshing the program landing page, we developed digital strategies that would drive enrollment such as bolstering SEO by implementing a paid search campaign, creating an alternative video webinar for students to view anytime, and automate applicant lead communications to simplify the purpose and need of workers in this growing career field.
